This course gives you hands-on aptitudes and knowledge that empowers you to complete a wide scope of tasks in the tiling business. This particular training and Assessment Strategy is focused on students who are looking to facilitate their abilities and knowledge practical and hypothetical parts of working in the wall and floor Industry.

The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.

The construction industry strongly affirms that training and assessment leading to recognition of skills must be undertaken in a real or very closely simulated workplace environment and this qualification requires all units of competency to be delivered in this context.

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.

This qualification provides a trade outcome in wall and floor tiling for residential and commercial construction work.
Occupational titles may include:
• Tiler
• Wall and floor tiler.

• 18 years old and above at the time of enrolment
• Pre-training review
• LLN test

For Qualification by RPL the candidate MUST provide the following required documents:
1. 100 points ID
2. Unique Student Identifier – USI number
3. Resume (Relevant Industry)
4. Reference Letter (Relevant Industry)
5. Payslip
6. Work site Photos & Videos evidences

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:
